Dancing

A number of dancing contests take place in Saranda during the summer season under the auspices of the City Authorities.
The most striking ones being the folk dancing contests where professional and amateur dancers wearing traditional folk costumes of their respective regions engage in Albanian folk dancing that attract the attention of the visitors. The traditional folk costumes are amazing and unique and, no doubt, the costumes impress foreign holidaymakers.
These events have increased the variety of activities and have enhanced the cultural life of the city.
